Now that fall is here, I have to admit… my favorite time of the week is Football Game time!!!  I love those cool, fall days and cozying up at home with the family rooting on our favorite team.  And in this house, we don’t just limit it to Sunday football.  College games on Saturday?  YOU BET!  Even more fun is inviting friends and family over and making a small get together out of the event.  But who wants to slave in the kitchen all day?  Not me!  So I found these great game day slow cooker recipes including both appetizers and main course options that will let me partake in the football fun too!
