Who doesn’t love a refreshing glass of sweet tea on a hot summer day?! For years I have been making homemade sweet tea. Not only can you make any variety you would like, but you’ll also save quite a bit of money by by making your own! I like to get caffeine-free tea bags which cost about $3 for a box of 48. From that box I’ll get about 9 gallons of sweet tea…not too shabby, huh? 😀
Check out this super easy recipe below and get to brewing. Cheers!
Homemade Sweet Tea
Enjoy this refreshing and delicious sweet tea on those hot summer days.

- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1 gallon water
- lemons
- Add tea bags to pitcher.
- Boil water and pour over tea bags.
- Allow to steep for a few minutes.
- Add sugar while the tea is still hot so it easily dissolves. You can add more or less sugar depending on your preference.
