The best place to start when shopping at Weis is by signing up for a Weis Shopper’s Club Card. It will give you savings on thousands of items in the store along with track your rewards for special promotions and their Gas Rewards program. That’s right. Just for doing your regular grocery shopping Weis will reward you with 10¢ off per gallon of gas for every $50 spent the same day! Occasionally you’ll also find bonus gas rewards where you’ll earn more than 10¢ off per gallon when you purchase qualifying products.
Always take a look at the weekly circular to find the best deals. Try to shop according to what’s on sale and stock up if you find a really good price. It’s best to have about 6 weeks’ worth of an item on hand…that’s how long it usually takes for sales to come back around. That way you won’t be stuck paying full-price for something if you run out when it’s not on sale.
Weis also has Price Freeze deals. These are items that the price remains the same, “frozen,” for usually 90 days. Be sure to take a look at the clearanced items too. Meat, dairy, baked goods, and seafood that are getting close to their sell-by dates are frequently marked down so they can be sold and not thrown out. I always make sure to check for these items.
