Earlier this year I shared my very favorite DIY laundry detergent recipe. Since then it has consistently been one of the top read posts on Saving By Design and so many of you have told me how you love it just as much as me. Yay!! That makes me so happy! 🙂
If you haven’t tried it yet, whip some up and see what you think! You can find the recipe here. Once you do, if you love it as much as me and lots of other readers, I’m sure you’ll be happy to share it with everyone! Don’t worry the recipe literally makes a ton so you’ll have plenty to share. And here’s an easy, yet very pretty, way to share the homemade detergent goodness. Give some to friends and family, as a housewarming gift, maybe to teachers, or what about using it for bridal shower favors? Hmm…I’ll have to come up with cute house warming, teacher, and bridal shower gift tags!
To make your homemade laundry detergent gift just add your detergent to a mason jar and pretty it up with some raffia, ribbon, or twine. I also cut a circle to fit the jar lid out of some scrapbook paper I had lying around. Add a cute tag and recipe card attached with a clothespin and you’re all set!
